To travel to the area can be done easily, here are some options: There are regularly scheduled air service , available through "Sansa Airlines" from San Jose (approx. 20 minute flight); or you can drive or take the bus from the Capital. The drive is about 3+hrs, depending on weather conditions, traffic, etc.
There is bus service from Quepos to Manuel Antonio Park, every 1/2 hour from dawn to 10:00PM, and 24/7 taxi service...but, if you are going to explore some areas of the country on your own, we recommend that you rent a 4x4 vehicle, instead of a car, as some sections of the road may be difficult, but you will find some of the most beautiful and breathtaking views off-road.
